On 16-17 November 2024, the 10th East Lake Forum on Global Governance was held in Wuhan (PRC), which was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Global Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Doctor of Philosophy, Prof. A.N. Chumakov and post-graduate student Yan Shupin.
The event was organized by the College of Public Administration (CPA) of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). The theme of the forum was ‘Common Security and Global Governance’.
The forum was attended by representatives from many cities and leading universities in China, as well as from various countries and continents: Asia, Europe, America and Africa. Prof. A.N. Chumakov made a plenary report on ‘Global Governance and the Problem of Realism in the Global Studies’ at the forum.
Post-graduate student Yan Shupin was also invited by the organisers to participate in the conference. There was also a constructive dialogue on creative cooperation between the Faculty of Global Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the College of Public Administration of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
